Multi Spectral Imaging:


This is a safe non-invasive technology which uses a large range of wavelengths to image different depths of the retina. Conventional retinal imaging takes one image that is limited to retinal surface examination. A total of fourteen images are taken per eye during one scan which offers considerable more information.


This technology allows us to examine the retina in far more detail and potentially diagnose eye disease much earlier compared to conventional examination techniques.

Corneal Topography:


This technology measures the curvature and overall landscape of the front surface of the eye. This allows early detection of corneal disease as well as aiding in complex medical contact lens treatments.

Optic Nerve Analysis:

Optic Nerve Analysis

This device uses scanning laser polarimetry technology to detect optic nerve damage in glaucoma. This scan measures damage to the one million nerves that comprise the optic nerve and nerve fibre layer at the back of the eye.

Preferential Hyperacuity Perimetry:

This technology measures and tracks defects in vision due to macular eye disease. Unfortunately, over one million Canadians suffer varying degrees of vision loss due to macular degeneration. This number is expected to double over the next 25 years.

Automated Peripheral Vision Testing:

This technology allows the measurement of side or peripheral vision which is vital in cases of injuries, tumours, aneurysms, etc… along the optic nerve and brain. It is important in measuring damage in glaucoma and specific retinal diseases.
